Request to join the Mentoring Program

Hi everyone,

My name is Urbano Freitas, and I'm a 25 year old guy from Portugal, more 
precisely from Figueira da Foz, a small city near the sea.

I'm a graduate student of Mechanical Engineering.

So I have been using Ubuntu since mid 2006, but not as primary operating 
system, because of certain apps that don't work under Ubuntu, and I needed.

Since November last year, I could change entirely to Ubuntu. So I've 
decided to start contributing to the community, specifically to 
documentation, because is the area I think I can do most.

Not being a native English speaker, I will probably do some mistakes, 
but this is also an incentive to improve my skills.

As I mention in Subject, the main purpose of this email is to request to 
join the mentoring program of the Documentation Team, so I can learn to 
produce documentation as good as possible and following the community rules.
