Spacing between sentences

Hi guys

I was wondering if I could get confirmation on how many spaces the
documentation uses between sentences.  I know that generally you are
supposed to use two, but I have noticed that many have only one.  I think
there should be a set style, but nonetheless, I'd like to know what I should
work with.
