Network troubleshooting

Hi,

The network troubleshooting guide contains errors, and is not very helpful  
(at least not for someone who is installing for the first time).

Should I record the problems on the bug tracker, or is there some other  
process where I can try to help to make it better? I can't write it all  
myself, because there are things in it that I don't know how to fix, but I  
see it as my purpose in life to make this better, so I can get Ubuntu  
working on my machine ;-)
