It isn't in the repos if I recall > correctly JOnathanI looked up the Doc upstream at http://www.debian.org/releases/stable/i386/apcs04.html.en and there has been some minor changes in the Ubuntu docs.  The procedure described is basically the same though. Their devel version is at http://d-i.alioth.debian.org/manual/en.i386/apds03.html and has a couple of the reordering issues that I have seen, already fixed.  And the layout of chapters and such seems closer to the Ubuntu doc on the DVD.The "issues" I've encountered seem to be mostly Ubuntu specific and center around permission problems and the unique way that Ubuntu deals with the main user account.  I am no svn wizard but I can't find it in the Ubuntu doc repos.  The Procedure works if you always log in as root and don't use gdm in its default state.  When you mix in a 'normal' Ubuntu user is when issues pop up.  I'll try to format my results and post them this weekend.Jerry
