Page for explaining how to partition an hard disk

Hi,

talking with an Italian user, he asked why there isn't a document in
Ubuntu's help system (Yelp) concerning partitions and how to format a
disk using command line or a graphical tool...

Is it something that could be of interest to include in next
documentation cycle? I could start working a little on this one if it's
worth...

Windows help system has something about how to format a floppy and even
some basic info on partitioning and formatting a "volume"...
