Welcome, welcome.
I don't think there is much more I can add to the brain dump that is the
RecordingScreencasts page and the FAQ. If you wouldn't mind identifying
any omissions and/or errors and let us know or just edit them out, that
would be great.
For a printing screencast I think it might be useful to show the usual
dialog boxes for setting up a printer of course. But it might also be
worth pointing out the wiki pages for diagnosing printing issues, and
possibly also the linuxprinting.org site. That way you give people the
ability to go and find out for themselves if their printer has a whelks
chance in a supernova of working, or indeed not.
