That reminded me:

If DocBook is going to be converted to HTML, _please_ don't translate
an arrow (e.g. in menu directions) into an ASCII art '->' thingy. It's
not accessible.

How would you like your screen reader to read out "Applications hyphen
greater than Accessories hyphen greater than Calculator"? :-P

You should use the entity '→' instead.
