Let me introduce myself, as suggested on the web page.

My name is Rosalind Mitchell. By profession I am a Linux-based database
analyst, systems developer and proselytiser for Ubuntu, living in
north-west England, 'twixt mountain and sea. I am also a writer of
crime fiction, and I have in the past been a technical writer.

My interest is in producing clear and accessible documentation for the
intelligent general user as well as for the experienced professional, so
producing documents which are lucid without being patronising or overly
'geeky'.

For this reason I'm interested in joining the documentation team and,
like it says, sign up for the mentoring programme.

Now, let me shut my eyes and let this message flutter off into the
cybersphere. I wonder if anything will come back? ;)

Rosie
