As far as I'm concerned, if your DVD drive came with DVD playing software
like WinDVD or Cyberlink, you've already bought the right to play encrypted
DVDs just by buying the drive. (I'm not sure that would hold up in court
though, but it might.) W32codecs is a little trickier. MS specifically
omits legal protection if their codecs are running on something other than
Windows. So just having a Windows disc isn't going to fly. You can get
some of the codecs from fluendo at fluendo.com.
