Yeah, we have a bug on this, and it is something we'd very much like to

(For wiki work, take a look at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/WikiGuide which
has some tips about how we like people working on documentation in the
wiki to go about things).

This is a good place to start definitely. The better the material on the
wiki is, the easier it will be to incorporate it into our guides when we
start writing for the next version. Yeah, it sucks that we don't have
much documentation onboard for connecting to the internet with tricky
hardware, but the best we can do right now is to improve the wiki
resources, so that people can use other operating systems to find out,
or other interfaces, and then we can use the wiki material to improve
the onboard documentation.

I'm not sure what you mean by mods, but yeah, it's too late. Dapper is
coming out next week!
