CJK and the desktop guide

I was talking with freeflying (who is CC'd to this email as he doesn't
subscribe yet to ubuntu-doc so please respond and CC him as well).  He
mentions some changes need to be done for CJK support and should be
explained in the desktop guide.

freeflying could you please explain this a little further?
