US vs. British spelling

It's easy enough to 'translate' to British spelling, there's a perl
script that does the bulk of things [0]. It can be easily modified to go
the other way.

Personally I'd prefer to contribute in International English as that's
what I write automatically. It's not a strong preference though, as long
as any errors get picked up in the review process.

The numbers of people who use Ubuntu in a either form of English doesn't
really matter, as it's easy to translate between the two, and it's easy
to choose en_US over en_GB if that's what you wish. What does matter is
the number of people who contribute in each language, to cut down on
editing tasks.
