there is also:
 http://www.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/releases

which also has a bit more detail, but is still a bit sketchy.

The Dapper PR announcement (http://www.ubuntu.com/news/606released)
talks about the 5 years for support, but there are no mentions of the
3 years for desktop applications.
