Suggestion for download page on main ubuntu site

I posted something about this to the list before I joined (as suggested by
the bottom of the release notes page) but never saw it hit the archives.  Is
there a list moderation queue that could be checked - I'm sure I wrote
something really insightful but can't find the copy of it here :)
