Interested in doing some work on the XFCE side.

+1.  Screenshots are a boon to users and a hassle for maintainers.
They degrade faster than text, but text also degrades.  Nothing's
perfect, and eliminating screenshots doesn't get you closer to
perfection.  It's a balance thing.  Takes planning, and standards.
