Hi Craig,

Welcome! (sorry for the delay)

As you've probably noticed, things are a touch disorganised right now as
we try to focus on the next release cycle. The basic low down is that
the DocumentationTeam/Projects page details the guides that we've been
maintaining for Dapper, and the next step is to figure out what we want
to do for Edgy and beyond. No doubt part of that will be improving the
existing guides, and there will be some more exciting ideas too.

The other part of the team's work involves maintaining the wiki based
community contributed documentation. (see
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/WikiTeam, which has a list of useful pages)

We're in the process of moving this onto a separate wiki, and once this
is done there will be a fair amount of work to do to categorise and
organise some of the wiki documentation better.

The basic message - stay tuned, check out the wiki, and chip in any
ideas you have for improving the Ubuntu help system.

Matt
