Hi,
Here is a rather simple proposal anything that is in CategoryCleanup
for over six months or is three months into the next release's cycle
should be put into a CategoryReview.
This means that if someone reads it they would be advised by the
"space above the header" that this document has fallen out of the
maintained documentation tree.
If a page gets vitalised then its orphaned status could be removed and
the page deleted. The new page could cause the deletion of the
document in the "orphaned tree", using something like:
CategorySupersede foo.ubuntu.com/morefoo
If it is felt that we should keep the old "deleted orphan" then move
it to CategoryNonMaintained.
This would remove all other categories from the page and just sort
them by name on an index page, keeping them searchable as they might
be useful if someone wanted to find old ideas and or answers.
Regards,
Paul
