Also, the phpbb2 page is a little long.  There is a package that has
been available that does all the configuration for you.  It really
simplifies the installation.  I hacked the page and made a copy of
here:

It is *not* ready to go.  I just need to confirm that it works okay.

I would like to make a page for absolute beginners.  I find a lot of
people ask about LAMP on the forums.  They are excited to use the
turn-key installer but fall flat when they find there is no GUI, or
when they try to install something that removes php5 and replaces it
with php4 which breaks stuff.

How would you suggest such a page would turn out?  I was thinking of
breaking down the tasks and linking to various pages such as LAMP
installation, Dynamic DNS (for the webserver you want to set up in
your basement) and installation of various applications (drupal,
phpbb2, wordpress)
