Dear Wiki user,

The following page has been changed by towsonu2003:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingMemoryLeaks
The comment on the change is:
spec page
New page:
This howto is not yet implemented.
There isn't much to speculate on. This is the proposed wiki page to document how to debug memory leaks in Ubuntu. The spec is [https://blueprints.launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+spec/debugging-memory-leaks here].
Memory leaks, especially firefox and xorg leaks are annoying to users. Also, some users seem to have very severe memory leaks (see linked bug in spec). Providing them with a howto on diagnosing and debugging memory leaks will be of great help. It would probably help Firefox' development as well thru upstream bug reports. Fx is well known for its memory leaks.
If you will be writing the how to, just delete this text and replace it with your own text. Thanks. --towsonu2003
