I'm currently out of state and forgot to get my svn password and gpg key on 
this virtual machine I'm working on.  Can someone please apply the patch and

Yes, preparing.xml. Attached is a diff of what I have so far - I just
copied some of the header stuff from another document, so hopefully it's
alright. This chapter is still very much a work in progress, so if you
need me to remove some of the placeholder text in there (or anything
else, for that matter) before I post it to ubuntu-doc, just say the
word.
