Yes, they could. They were prepared rather hastily in the rush to prepare
the beta release.

The UpgradeNotes pages were traditionally used to explain extra steps
required for a proper and smooth upgrade (exactly the problem that the new
upgrade tool is meant to solve automatically).

Sure, I'm happy for the doc team to revise this as appropriate and will
review it and answer questions as needed.

Only once Dapper has been released will Update Manager offer it as an
automatic upgrade. Until then, it must be run with the -d option.
