That's an excellent idea.  If you have vmware and a copy of XP, that should 
help.  If not, I do and can help you fill in some blanks.

Also, I intend to write a security guide.  It'll have a FAQ section with 
things like how secure is Ubuntu/Linux, do I need a firewall, do I need an 
antivirus, why do I need to care about security when I don't have any 
sensitive data, etc.  It'll have a firewall section (I'll probably want to 
move the firewall section from the serverguide and build upon it), sections 
on securing various commonly used server apps, a list of security best 
practices... 

I'm still sort of writing it in my head until I get the time to sit down and 
get it started.
