xubuntu desktop guide patch No.1

hi all,

here's a first patch, featuring:
* merged the  'linux basics' part from the ubuntu desktop guide (only 
small changes)
* fixed a bug in the Makefile  (problem with .svn dir)
* renamed the 'about xubuntu' chapter to 'introduction'
* a few minor stylistic corrections
