1. is fixed in the about-ubuntu document which the documentation team takes care
of (http://doc.ubuntu.com/gnome/about-ubuntu/C/index.html). It is just not being
used by firefox as the homepage. There is a separate bug open on that and
hopefully it will be fixed soon.
2. Doc string freeze was yesterday but we can be cheeky and include a reference
to that link.
3. IMO it is too late to make large changes like that for this release. Let's
hear other thoughts.
