The "Root Terminal" icon actually runs gnome-terminal as root. This is
highly undesireable to say the least. :-)

For users who are interested in using a terminal, and comfortable with root,
it makes a lot of sense to train them to use a normal terminal and sudo. It
really isn't worth the extra (confusing) menu item. You can always create a
panel icon if you really like this functionality.
