Yes, I registered recently just to be able to provide guidance when
needed. I too share matts disgust for the starting of yet another
resource, but the only way to get the message across is to be able to
post there. 

Hopefully after everyone gets their initial enthusiasm out of their
systems people will start to see the light and ubuntupeople.com will
fade into obscurity.
