Guía Guadalinex / Ubuntu Guide

Ave doc team,

I have been comissioned to write the Guadalinex User Guide to be
released as a printed book soon, when the new versions of the Andalusian
distribution (based on Breezy) hits the streets. The editors are
thinking of printing 5.000 books or so. The book is planned to have
about 300 A5 pages.

I'm writing the guide in a wiki open to review and collaboration:

The guide is structured in modules, identifying clearly those chapters
and pages that apply equally to Guadalinex and Ubuntu (i.e. configure a
printer), those totally different (i.e. Guadalinex Live installer) and
those that need just some tweaking.

I would like to coordinate the work as much as possible with this team,
if possible. There are some difficulties, being the main one that the
book is being written in Spanish.

But the aim to collaborate and coordinate is here.  :)  Opinions, deas,
criticism are all welcome.

The least I can do is to inform periodically about the guide, for
instance each time a new chapter or relevant subchapters are finished.

One question. Is it anywhere documented a list of existing distributions
deriving from Ubuntu? Please have a llok to the the bottom of the page
linked above to see if I have missed any.
