  And since w32codecs is only available on external repositories (debian
or marillat), i'm not sure i should put a procedure to install w32codecs
in the howto, since i think it's a bad idea to enable external
repositories without a proper apt-pinning setup. And as apt-pinning
setup is a sensible configuration, i think anyone confident enough to
set it up will have enough knowledge to easily configure mplayer.
