I found what I think is the source of the images problem. Its in
/usr/share/xml/docbook/stylesheet/nwalsh/common/common.xsl
It appears as if the strippath template is removing all of the
"../../" bits. I modified html-cust.xsl by adding a strippath template
which overrides the norman walsh strippath and does not strip any
paths. I have no idea if this mod breaks something elsewhere; more
testing is required.
So far, it works on the kde install guide. (do a "make kin")
I have committed the revised html-cust.xsl to svn at revision 1245. Enjoy!
