WIKI TRANSFER NOTICE

Tomorrow morning, June 15th, we are planning to transfer the main Ubuntu
wiki (http://www.ubuntulinux.org/wiki/) from the current plone/zwiki
system to a Moin based one. When we start the procedure we will make the
current wiki read-only and copy the pages across to the new wiki.

We will start the process around 9.00 GMT and expect it to take from 2
to 4 hours. The current wiki pages should be viewable during the whole
process. When we are done, the same pages will be available at the same
URLs. (all the pages are already in the Moin markup thanks to a great
effort from a small group of community members)

We hope you will enjoy the functionality and improved performance of the
new system and we regret any inconvenience you may experience during the
transfer process.
