Dear Docies...

this mail probably comes a tad bit late and half of you may wonder who
the hell that guy is who's writing here. :) I was working for the Doc
Team during last year. I have met some of you at the Ubuntu conference
in Mataro (and I couldn't find a chinese restaurant since then that
compares to the Marina). Unfortunately (for Ubuntu) I was accepted as a
Debian Developer in January 2005 and shuffled my priorities around.
Since then I have mostly been doing Debian work and didn't even take the
time to send a life signal. Every now and then I checked out the
repository and wanted to start contributing again. But my to do list
grew faster than a snake climbs up a sugar tree. So the doc team work
was hardly more than opening the mailing list and pressing the "yeah,
yeah, laters, mark it all read for now" button.

Please accept my apologies that I dropped out silently. I didn't intend
to. But honestly I can't find a time slot for documentation team work
now and during the near future. I can't even find a way to log into the
wiki to change my wiki page accordingly. (The old password didn't work
any more and I changed it on the launchpad to no avail.)

Thanks to everyone who is dedicating their spare time for Ubuntu.
Although I'm spending most of my time for Debian I'm still following
the Ubuntu development and my father-in-law would not trade it for
Windows any more. :)

If whoever is currently in charge of the repository wants to revoke my
account that's perfectly fine with me.

Regards
 Christoph
