Fair enough, I was too curt. (1) I was still jetlagged, (2) I've 
suffered through years of declining Mozilla suggestions of the form 
"Explain {obscure feature X} on first launch", (3) the bug report was 
self-described as a "post", (4) it was about 20 times longer than it 
needed to be, and (5) it was filed on an irrelevant product -- but none 
of those things are reasonable excuses. I've given a proper response in 
the bug report.
