Erm: it doesn't increase the size of the binary package, which goes into
the distribution, only the source package, which isn't really a big
problem.

This isn't the only way to reduce the size of the source package. We can
also write a script which excludes the unneeded documents from the
source package (Daniel Holbach has volunteered to do this and I will
prepare a list of the unnecessary documents).
Having said that, some of the documents in the repo are purely
unnecessary, and can be deleted IMO.

We can delete this if you think there is nothing in there which will be
useful for the serverguide

This can go IMO.

We can delete this if there is nothing which will be useful for the
desktopguide, but I'd be inclined to keep it around just in case.

This might be useful, who knows. We could even review it and ship it.

Defer to Jonathan(s) and other kubuntu authors on this one. But as
Jerome says, the quickguide is in good shape.

I think we should definitely do this.
