Question on the KUserGuide -- Attention Sean

WHat is the status on the section OOO or KOffice?  There is this note 
<para>Sean Wheller: There was talk about using KOffice instead
     of OOo.</para>

Does this need to be done for OpenOffice or KOffice?  Also what is the default 
and standard KUbuntu instant messaging program?  I noticed there is a section 
on instant messagin w/ no information.

Looking for next thing to write.
