I discussed this with Rob and the guys on -java a few weeks back. I am
already working on it :)

I never sent an email to list about it though. Thanks for making it
more widely known.

I am currently working out the details for all 3 supported platforms.
Its funny you should mention it today as I started patching the
faqguide and will submit the finial working java section very soon
(see my earlier commits).
