Problem with special characters on our server

Hi all,

There is a problem with some weird characters on the docteam server. You
can see them here (e.g.): http://65.19.178.132/gnome/faqi386/C/

It seems that they are fine in konq, but appear in firefox.

Other builds of the same document from the same svn appear fine (e.g.
http://www.linuxhd.com/ubuntufaq/faqi386/C/). I've also checked and I
find that the exact same pages have the same problem on my server (so
probably eliminating a problem with apache). I conclude there is a
problem with the build process: does anyone have any ideas?

If anyone wants a login to see what packages are installed (maybe there
is something missing?), just ask here.
