I also prepared a more throrough secretary status page at EnricoZini, in
which I would maintain my TODO list, announce periods of vacation and
similar things.  Since it seems that I'll be paid to dedicate some hour
to serve the community, I want my doing to be transparent (so that the
community can control if I'm serving well) and open to requests.

I'll have a slow start, both because I'll leave tonight for a conference
in Brazil (www.conisli.org) and because negotiations with Canonical
about this job are still not concluded.  However, even from Brasil I'll
try to get online every day, keep in touch with the list, take notes of
what happens and possibly write down the various consensuses reached in
list and maybe summarize in some weekly report or wiki page.
