OT:why use FLOSS - what i've been up to

As some of you know the reason I have not been involved in the docs
groups is because I am working with large community center which is
using free software.  I have been writing an IT strategy & vision
document and seeing you lot know about Linux/writing stuff i am
posting the section about FLOSS here - any comments appreciated.  I
want the document to be accessible to non-techie/newbee type. Note
there are references to Trinity and the Center.  The community center
is called The Trinity Center and is run by Trinity community Arts.

Almost forgot, please dont link to publicise this document - its a
draft and we are on a very small server at the moment.
