Hello,
I got a mail from John. He says that the repository may have been
unstable and eventually down because his town was "hit with a nice snow
storm".
He is sorry for the situation; he was hoping to have the server moved to
Canonical before he left for vacations, but that didn't happen.
He'll try to get someone to restore it ASAP, or else he'll be home
tomorrow. I told him to stay focused on enjoying Christmas as much as
he can, as we all have a checkout, and for the new curious who want to
have a look and make some patch, we now have the checkout tarball at:
http://lento.uncasino.it/enrico/store/faq-svk.tar.gz
Ciao,
Enrico
P.S.
To recreate the snow storm, "apt-get install xsnow"
(although HORROR! It doesn't work with nautilus :( )
xpenguins -b works fine, though (phewww...)
