Users guide vs Quickguide

Well the rationale is that a new users needs to know how to do things,
not how to use programs. Thus a new user says "I need to know how to
view an image" not "I need to know how to use file-roller".
This idea also fits in with the concept that users care about their
data, not how it is manipulated.

I am not saying that I am 100% in agreement with this view, but I
think it does make sense for a guide to get people up and running in
very little time.
