That may be possible.
However, it does involve some packaging when things go wrong, and being
"too simple" isn't necessarily a problem. If it is that easy then people
may do it on the side.
I'm not sure we should be introducing complexity just to avoid this.
Looking at ways to make it compelling would be a good idea though.

We could drop it if we want to require people to write new/heavily modify
the packaging for daily builds.

Some further discussions at UDS gave me pause to think about these issues
more. Once I am back I plan to write up these thoughts more concretely for
discussion.
