I can also help, I have a small LDAP setup for 300 people to manage
samba, terminalservers, workstations and some web-apps.
It is build on openldap (dapper) and gosa.

My Coding-Skills: Python, PHP

I am waiting for better LDAP (and Kerberos) support in Ubuntu, since
2004, I think. It would be great if gutsy has stable (in main)
client-support.
