Hiyas Barry,

I have a padawan (UBT trainee) that I am mentoring, he is interested in admin / wiki / doc work. I've had a chat with Phil Bull and part sold my little slave to you all. As he is still a trainee, he will have lots of questions - please have the patience with him, he's an excellent padawan and as doc / wiki / admin work is not the most glamorous jobs, it's nice to have a youngster who is interested in learning that side of things. He is called Daniel (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/CensoredBiscuit) Any assistance you give him will be repaid in time he will devote to your teams. (He has a 'twin' (another Daniel), who belongs to DuaneDesign who along with others from the Lubuntu team who know wiki and documentation I have also 'volunteered' for the 11.04 documentation and wiki work). As ever, I am always available to assist you and the teams (It's just fun kidnapping others to help, each of us must have a a hobby, that's mine :P ).

I have a branch that integrates the UDD documentation from the wiki. It also
fixes some typos, makes consistent some reST style, and other things. Please
review at:

https://code.launchpad.net/~barry/ubuntu-packaging-guide/udd/+merge/48685

It'll need more work, but I think this branch is a decent first cut. Next
week I'll work on folding in /usr/share/doc/bzr-builddeb/user_manual.

As soon as this is integrated, I'd like to publish the guide online somewhere
(even if at an interim location), and then disable editing of the UDD wiki
pages to prevent things from getting out of sync. I'm happy to publish it on
one of my websites temporarily, though obviously an ubuntu.com address is the
ultimate location.

Cheers and have a good weekend,
