I realized that it is a meta package, <div><br></div><div>But how to get the source then. The first dilemma with me is that i am not able relate to the package which i actually wanna customize. I looked in for Ubuntu Developer Wiki but in vain.</div>

</div>This is the meta-package, like ubuntu-desktop, which defines what<br>
packages to install with the netbook remix. It is a package<br>
containing no code, just with Depends: and Recommends: fields listing<br>
the appropriate other packages. The interesting stuff lives in<br>
debian/control.<br>

If you want to change the default applications, you've got the right<br>
package. If you want to change anything else, you'll need to grab the<br>
relevant package. Without more details of what you actually want to<br>
do it's hard to give advice here, but you may well want a package from<br>
this list: go-home-applet, maximus, netbook-launcher,<br>
ubuntu-netbook-default-settings, window-picker-applet.<br>
