The ubuntu-art-packager team came out of a need to prevent non-technical people from suggesting packages and fixes which only cause problems, at least I think that is why it happened, maybe I am wrong. It was before my time, but as things stand, myself and Cory or the only ones on the team who are actively working on design issues. Some of the other members do take care of tasks here and there which no artist wants/needs to deal with. Andrew, it seems like a no-brainer for you to be on it if you wish.
