Greetings,

I have spoken to a member of the development team for Blueman. https://launchpad.net/~walmis He at least seems interested. But I would not wish for resources or efforts being duplicated if blueman is seemingly not necessary as the default in the distribution due to Network Manager .8, for example. I have applied to join that team and hope to help lead discussion on integration into Main.

Thanks,
Anthony

On Tue, Aug 11, 2009 at 6:27 AM, ajmctaggart <ajmctaggart@gmail.com> wrote:

Blueman did a hack so you could setup bluetooth modems without NM even
noticing that its bluetooth. 0.8 aims to do it right. DUN support is
still missing, but we are discussing upstream how to best tackle this.
