I would like to disagree and put a vote to keeping 'fix released' updates related to source package uploads, launchpad should avoid becoming too Ubuntu centric. Source tarballs are distro agnostic, using PPA uploads as the official mark of a "release" sends a message that LP is a project for Ubuntu and will hinder upstream adoption. -- --Alex Launi
