Perhaps it would be best to try to start with a minimal X session on both moblin and jaunty to rule out userspace components that start after X, so you can compare raw Xorg startup time with the intel driver?<br><br><div class="gmail_quote">

The sequence of monitor probe stuff starting at 5.x seconds looks like<br>
xrandr calls, almost certainly from some client program rather than from<br>
X itself. Perhaps those are from gnome-settings-daemon? Do you have a<br>
~/.config/monitors.xml on one system but not the other maybe?<br>
