I think you need to ask around and find out if there is someone on your team (in the group that really understands what will need to be done) who can be there to present it. Since we will have a full VoIP infrastructure, anyone will be able to participate in the conference from anywhere they have broadband BUT it is still probably necessary for their to be a competent, coding champion for any proposed idea.
