Hello,

Just a quick introduction to those that don’t know me. I started with Debian back in the late 90s. I served a term as Debian Project Leader. With Debian I maintained the GNU C Library and dpkg, and also supported the original Sparc/UltraSPARC port.

I started with Ubuntu in 2005 working for Canonical as the kernel maintainer, up through early 2009. I’ve maintained my Core Developer status, helping to keep the PowerPC port maintained until it was shelved in favor of the ppc64le port.

Although I have not been able to work directly with Ubuntu in recent times, I still work with it on a daily basis delivering custom network appliance platforms that are built on Ubuntu as well as docker based scaling solutions that also use Ubuntu as the core image.
